T-Mates began as a small circle of young Boholanos brought together by a shared love for dance, but over time, that passion transformed into something far greater. Without formal backing, they built themselves from the ground up, each member stepping into roles that pushed the group forward—one guiding the artistic vision, another shaping choreography, and others managing stage design and production. What started as a simple bond over movement evolved into a disciplined, collaborative force driven by purpose and ambition.
That transformation reached a defining moment in March 2026, when they took a leap beyond their comfort zone and entered World of Dance Philippines competitionss at Newport City. Relying on their own resources and the unwavering support of their community, they faced 49 of the country’s top competitors. What they once thought was just a distant dream became reality as their hard work and resilience carried them to the championship title. In that victory, T-Mates did not just win a competition—they redefined what was possible for themselves and brought pride and honor to their home province.
The Gratitude Fund provided a modest contribution to T-Mates so they can represent the Philippines at the World of Dance Global Championship Summit in Los Angeles, California on July 7–10, 2026.
