Project HINGYAP is a community-driven initiative dedicated to eradicating literacy gaps and establishing a sustainable culture of learning for 211 elementary learners in a vulnerable, underserved agricultural community.
The project, implemented in Guinciaman Elementary School, San Miguel, Leyte, aims to benefit 211 elementary learners, 10 parents, and 9 teachers through a suite of interventions. The project team aims to co-create and validate specialised reading modules, empower parents to sustain educational support, and create a learning and reading space within school premises.
The Gratitude Fund supports the team of three pathfinders in implementing this initiative.
