THe Augustinian Contemplative Nuns of the Monastery of the Resurrection in Tabalong, Dauis, Bohol, Philippines, is a religious community that preserves the good practices, traditions and the Augustinian way of life faithfully observed by the Augustinian Contemplative Nuns of Santa Maria Maddalena in Modigliana, Italy, and handed down to us the Sisters in Tabalong.
Founded in 1993, the nuns run the Monastery of the Resurrection and its attendant premises. While living a contemplative life, they also host public daily masses for the surrounding community, while offering its retreat facilities for the discerning public to use.
The Monastery is dependent on support from parishioners and from benefactors. The Gratitude Fund provides a modest contribution to the Monastery regularly.
