Natural disasters plagues the Philippine islands on a regular basis. Vulnerable communities suffer significant danger to their lives and property. The Gratitude Fund supports relief efforts of several organisations, including Angat Buhay, in delivering emergency goods and services to affected communities.

Disaster operations and relief efforts in the Philippines are are critical because of the country’s high vulnerability to natural hazards such as typhoons, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and floods. Climate change has exacerbated this condition especially with the increased strength and frequency of typhoons.

The Gratitude Fund partners with organisations providing these services in times of need.
