From Trashes to Classes: Keeping Students in School

Funders of The Gratitude Fund benefited largely from scholarships for their education. As a gesture of paying forward, TGF supports Heidi Mendoza’s project to keep deserving students in school and achieve their dreams.

Heidi Mendoza, auditor par excellence and former Undersecretary General for the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight, launched a scholarship program for economically challenged but deserving Filipino students in the college where she is also dean of accountancy.

Heidi supports scholars by painting discarded bottles and giving them out to friends, and by communicating with her over 17,000 followers on Facebook. The Gratitude Fund supports Heidi by giving a small regular contribution to her scholarship project “From Trashes to Classes”.
